  13. Someone at Zoom explained the ROM deal.... There is a new smaller version 
  14. (thus smaller circuit board)
  15. of the V.34x (the v.34i remains the same). This new v.34x uses ROM 1.400b 
  16. - they claim no functionality difference between the old and the new. The 
  17. v.34i (and the larger v.34x) remains with 1.309 which they claim has no 
  18. bugs- not even the Win95 
  19. speaker problem. I'd like to test that... I would think that I could test 
  20. it without Win95 by dialing a BBS with a semi-colon after it. I've tried 
  21. that and the speaker doesn't mute... Does that mean that  don't have the 
  22. problem?
