- Someone at Zoom explained the ROM deal.... There is a new smaller version
- (thus smaller circuit board)
- of the V.34x (the v.34i remains the same). This new v.34x uses ROM 1.400b
- - they claim no functionality difference between the old and the new. The
- v.34i (and the larger v.34x) remains with 1.309 which they claim has no
- bugs- not even the Win95
- speaker problem. I'd like to test that... I would think that I could test
- it without Win95 by dialing a BBS with a semi-colon after it. I've tried
- that and the speaker doesn't mute... Does that mean that don't have the
- problem?
